Hannes as over 25 years of C-level international experience in wholesale, retail and food. His first international experience was the start up of Lidl Discount in the UK as commercial director in 1993 followed by leading an integration of entities in the spice industry in the US and a turnaround of Makro Cash& Carry in Greece as Purchasing Director from where he moved to the UK as MD of Makro Cash & Carry in the UK. Since leaving Makro he working with SMEs and start-ups, and co-founded HydroGuard an engineering company developing property flood protection products as he could not find the right products fo his needs with the experience of having been flooded twice.
