Kerryanne is CEO of Eden Flood Volunteers which specialises in disaster recovery. EFV not only support Cumbria but have also supported Dumfries & Galloway, Lancashire, Yorkshire and Tyndale when the floods hit those areas.
In just 8 months Kerryanne has been successful in securing 3 awards (Diverse Cumbria 2016, Penrith Chamber of Trade & Commerce - Unsung Hero & #Spirit of Cumbria Awards 2016). With strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to empower and enrich her volunteers to use their initiative.
Her Clear sighted strategy and early vision of what was needed in the immediate circumstances and what would be needed in the long term has secured funding and free premises to continue the recovery work.
£1.7 million has been donated in furniture and goods with over £1.5 million already distributed, with a team of 6 part-time staff and 40+ Volunteers.
