Geosynthetic Cementitious Composite Mats (GCCM’s) are flexible, cement impregnated fabrics that harden on hydration to form a thin, durable, water proof, concrete layer. GCCMs have quickly gained market acceptance as practical and cost effective alternatives to poured, precast or sprayed concrete solutions. This presentation will explain GCCM technology and material properties, followed by Concrete Canvas® case studies of Network Rail, Highways England and the Environment Agency flood control applications.
