Using data to inform flood management interventions
Using a case study in Somerset as an example, this presentation will explore how Hydro International have provided long term water level monitoring, which has helped to inform Water Level Management Plans. These plans have been converted into actions to manage and reduce flooding, including construction of a new flood storage reservoir, incorporating Hydro-Brake Optimum vortex flow controls.
