She has over 16 years of experience working with both Local and Welsh Government on a variety of projects. She holds a BSc (Hons) degree including other professional management qualifications and is a company director for the Seabright Group. Which offers solutions to projects and operational problems, maintenance inspections and surveys of infrastructures or vital equipment.
With the unmanned aerial vehicles, remotely operated vehicles and crawler vehicles an emerging industry to the flood, marine, environmental and renewable energy companies.
She is a strong advocate for women’s rights.
Re-shaping the Future for Women in Technology
There is an emerging market for future technologies such as robotics, ROV’s, and UAV’s, firstly due to safety reasons, time, coordination and the ability to use multiple equipment for both weather and environmental purposes. There is a huge importance of breaking down the gender barriers to the future technology. The ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution’ of advanced robotics, autonomous vehicles and AI will have a major impact on the future labour market. This coupled with the empowerment of women will bridge the skills gap and have added economic advantages.
