LandScope Engineering Ltd
With over 10 years of experience at LandScope Engineering, Tom Card has played an instrumental role in the introduction of laser scanning services to LandScope’s portfolio.
This has led to, amongst other things, the introduction of ‘autoMAP’, LandScope’s mobile mapping service, working to develop above water and below water combined point cloud data sets, and, in 2013, the introduction of the BlueView BV5000 to aid inspection of underwater structures and environments.
In his current role, Tom is responsible for the continued development of 3D survey services and ensuring LandScope remain at the forefront of introducing specialist services by utilising cutting edge technologies.
Applications of 3D SoNAR Technologies for Flood Assessment and Modelling
Showcasing the very latest in 3D SoNAR technologies and its ability to provide high resolution visualisations of underwater structures and environments even in turbid, fast flowing water. Tom Card will explore how the resultant point cloud data can be used to assess flood damage either as a complementary or a replacement service to the traditional diver based inspection.
